Privacy Policy
1. Who we are and scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Cool Zebra Travel Android application (the "App") and to this website, published by Cool Zebra Travel ("we", "us", "our"). The App provides a way to watch travel videos from our YouTube channel. This policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the types of third parties involved.
2. Data we collect
Data you provide to us
The App has no sign-up, login or user profile. We do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, address, payment information or any other personal information, and we do not operate a user database.
Data collected automatically by us
The App does not include analytics, advertising or crash-reporting software that transmits data to us, and we do not receive your device identifiers, advertising ID, precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera data.
Data stored on your device
The App may keep basic settings and cached content (for example, a list of videos or thumbnails) locally on your device so it loads faster. This information stays on your device, is not sent to us, and is removed when you clear the App's storage or uninstall it.
Data processed by third parties
Because the App plays videos through YouTube, YouTube/Google receives certain technical information when the App loads or plays video content. See Section 4. We do not control this processing.

3. How we use data
Because we do not collect personal data, we do not use it for profiling, marketing, advertising or sale. Any locally stored settings and cached content are used only to operate the App and make it faster.
4. YouTube and Google services
The App displays and plays videos from our YouTube channel using YouTube API Services / the YouTube embedded player. By using the App you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
When video content is loaded or played, YouTube/Google may collect and use information such as:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- device type, operating system, language and app/browser information;
- video viewing and playback activity (for example, which videos are played);
- cookies, local storage or similar identifiers on your device.
This data is collected and controlled by Google, not by us, and is used by Google according to its own privacy policy (for example to provide and secure the service, measure playback, and, depending on your Google settings, personalize content). We do not receive this data in a form that identifies you.
The App only accesses publicly available information about our channel and videos. It does not ask you to sign in to your Google account and does not access private data from your Google or YouTube account.
You can manage Google's use of your data and revoke access that you may have granted to apps through your Google Account permissions page, and manage activity controls at Google Activity Controls.
5. Who data is shared with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. The only parties involved in handling data when you use the App are:

6. App permissions
- Internet access (
INTERNET) – needed to load and stream videos. - Network state (
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) – used, if at all, to detect whether you are online so the App can show a helpful message.
The App does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, storage or calendar.
7. Retention and security
We do not retain personal data about you because we do not collect it. Content cached on your device is kept until you clear it or uninstall the App. All network communication with YouTube uses encrypted HTTPS connections, and this website is served over HTTPS.
8. Your choices and rights
Since we do not hold personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can at any time:
- clear the App's cache and data in Android Settings → Apps → Cool Zebra Travel → Storage, or uninstall the App;
- use your device's and Google Account's privacy controls to limit data processed by Google/YouTube;
- contact us with any question or request (Section 12). Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal data held by a controller. For data held by Google/YouTube, please contact Google directly through its privacy tools.
9. Children's privacy
The App is a general-audience travel video app and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it. Note that YouTube content and YouTube's data practices are governed by YouTube's and Google's own policies.
10. International data transfers
We do not transfer personal data because we do not collect it. Data processed by Google/YouTube may be handled in countries other than your own, as described in the Google Privacy Policy. This policy and website are accessible worldwide.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how the App handles data (for example, adding analytics or ads), we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect, and, where required, update the App's Google Play Data safety section. Please review this page periodically.
